When creating content, everyone comes across issues from time to time. Maybe your picture isn’t bright enough? Maybe the colors are too dull. No, it’s the copy… the copy doesn’t quite match the image. Whatever it is, everyone could use a helping hand in creating the most perfect post.
Best Tools for Photo Editing:
In never hurts to run even high-quality pictures through an editor. The brighter and more colorful a picture is, the more eye-catching it will be!
Camera+ – Dubbed “the ultimate photo app,” Camera+ is the industry standard for taking and editing great photos
Canva – This tool is great for adding graphics into a post. It is also an easy tool to use when creating infographics fast.
Pixlr Express – Pixlr Express is a great tool for a quick color pop! Personally, when using Pixlr, I use the brightness, contrast and saturation tools to give the image a more eye-catching appeal. (See below for a before and after Pixlr use.)
Snapseed – This is a phone-only tool. It is useful when you are creating content on the go and need to amp up the image you’ve just taken. It has multiple uses and is a great app to have in your back pocket.
Picmonkey – Happy National Read a Book Day! (not really…) Picmonkey is a great tool for all of those random and not so random holidays. The tool allows you to play with different filters, add text to images or even dress up a crawfish!
Best Tools for Gif Creation:
Giphy – For some great inspiration and a laugh!
Gif Maker – This tool is helpful for creating gifs. You can control the speed of your gif as well as specifying which type of file to make it through this site.
Best Tools for Creating Infographics:
infogr.am – Simple tool for creating charts and infographics
Best Tools for Following the Rules:
Word Counter – This one is pretty self explanatory. Need to make sure you are under 140 characters? We understand the struggle. This tool is a great way to get your word count fast.
Best Tools for Copy Writing:
Evernote – Do you wake up in the middle of the night with the best copy ideas and can’t get back to sleep unless you write it down? Evernote is the best way to get those notes down. The app syncs all notes taken on it from your phone and syncs it with your desktop app!
Hemingway App – This is the ideal tool for blog writing. If you are like me and struggle with passive voice, this is the website to bookmark!
CoSchedule – Are you second-guessing your headline? Run it through this website and it will tell you how to strengthen it.
