Facebook has done it again! That’s right, there’s yet another change to the ways you can manage your Facebook Pages. Previously, if you were an Administrator on a Facebook Page, you could use Facebook Voice to determine whether you wanted to post as yourself or as the brand.Today when I logged into Facebook I noticed that I no longer had access to Facebook Voice but now had control over each individual post. Here’s the quick breakdown of this new feature!
Rather than setting the preference at the top of the page like you did with Voice, this new feature allows you to the set the preference for each post. You are also given the option to post as other Pages you manage. So, when creating a post for a Page you manage, you can post as yourself, as the Page, or as another Page:
In addition to choosing how you post to a Page, you can also change who you engage as on any past posts. That is to say that you can go back to previous posts and Like, Comment or Share as yourself, as your Page, or as another Page you manage:

With this new feature, you can pick how you engage with previous posts on your wall, including Liking, Commenting and Sharing as another Page.
In addition to changing your preferences on each post, you can set default Post Attribution in the settings section of your Facebook Page:
Finally, it appears that with any Page you are an Administrator on, you can choose how you engage with posts in your personal News Feed. For example, when I see a post from FSC Interactive’s Facebook Page in my personal News Feed, I can choose to engage with it as Andy or as FSC (or as any other Page I am an admin on).

You can adjust how you engage with posts from Pages you’re an Admin on in your own personal News Feed
So there you have it: the new way to manage your Facebook Page’s posts. One caveat I did notice is that this is not available on Mobile, leading me to believe that Facebook posting on mobile still defaults to the Facebook Page, not the individual. Do you have more to share about this new feature? Let us know!
