Search Department Intern 

The Search Intern will assist the Director of Search and Search team with SEO and SEM research and implementation, as well as, reporting for clients’ SEO/SEM campaigns. With the goal of increasing search ranking for relevant terms in relation to the client’s goals and needs, the Search Intern will learn and help facilitate client’s accessibility, on-page factors, user-experience, linking and indexing, and staying up to date on best practices in an ever-changing landscape.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct SEO and SEM research and provide task support
• Perform SEM weekly and monthly reports and analysis
• Update and maintain online listings and provide correspondence support for online community management team

Length of Internship:

3-month minimum, with the opportunity to extend based on agency needs. This is a part-time, paid internship.

Preferred Experience:

  • Basic knowledge and understanding of SEO, SEM, and online marketing and familiarity with search engine algorithms, best practices, and current industry trends
  • Ability to gather data from site analysis tools to create client-facing reports with actionable insights
  • Quality management—looks to improve and promote quality, demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
  • Understanding of Google AdWords, Google Webmaster Tools, Google Analytics and basic CMS systems, HTML and CSS is a plus, but not required

Graphic Design Intern 

The Graphic Design Intern will assist our graphic designer in creating visual content for blogs, email marketing, online advertising and social media.

Responsibilities:

  • Creative brainstorming
  • Design strategy for new projects
  • Creating visually inspiring content
  • Editing, resizing, and adding to existing design files
  • Photo research and editing (potential opportunities for photo taking)
  • Assisting with agency internal marketing efforts

Length of Internship:

3-month minimum, with the opportunity to extend based on agency needs. This is a part-time, paid internship.

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs; specifically, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator required
  • Knowledgeable of typographic, color, and style rules (and when to throw them away)
